![]() Or, famously, SHE by Shereé, which viewers saw go from a “fashion show with no fashions” in season one of The Real Housewives of Atlanta to phantom “joggers” set to be released in “September, spring, summer” in season ten.Įven so, Bravo fans will flock to get their hands on the novelty of Karen Huger’s La’Dame perfume or a Brooks Marks tracksuit - wearing them the way an NFL fan wears a jersey. Not to mention the flops, like Teresa Giudice’s short-lived peach sparkling wine, Fabellini, cases of which are surely somewhere in a Paterson, New Jersey, warehouse, seeping into our water supply. Viewers have seen (and bought) it all, from Craig Conover’s pillows ( Southern Charm) to Hannah Ferrier’s insect-repellent fans ( Below Deck Mediterranean). Hopefully Kyle can sell the company to a big name beverage company and make a killing.Photo-Illustration: The Cut Photos: Getty Images Loverboyįrom Sonja Morgan’s toaster oven to Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl, launching a brand has become a rite of passage for Bravolebrities. Another drink will come along and be the new "it" thing. Beverages like lover boy don't last forever. Cool, but man up and have that conversation. Carl is now sober and wants something different. He had a history of job difficulties and he was not even remotely sober. Kyle should have addressed his concerns long before he reached this boiling point. If carl was getting burned out, he needed to meet with his manager and explain his concerns and present a possible solution. Or maybe it wasn't discussed.īoth carl and Kyle have handled this poorly. Maybe travel was originally discussed, but carl didn't realize how tiring it would be. We don't know what exactly how job description is. I know Carl needs money, but for the sake of his welbeing and his relationship with kyle, he shouldn’t have been working at his friend’s alcohol brand, which could potentially be damaging for his sobriety journey.Ĭarl was getting paid as an employee. ![]() Kyle has zero couth and professionalism regarding how he talks about Carl’s situation impacting his job performance on the show, especially while hammered, but he has totally valid points about he gave Carl a lot of breaks and leeway that most other boss wouldn’t have graciously afforded him. He wants to have his cake and eat it too, but Kyle’s worried about his trajectory both as his boss and friend. He might be a Bravolebrity, but he still had to fulfill his role as a Loverboy employee and was compensated for that. It also seems like he wants to get paid for making celebrity promotional appearances for Loverboy even though these kinds of appearances were built into his salaried job, with the latter being the standard situation for most folks in promo roles like his in that industry. I think he wants to be in a space where he can take on more responsibility and get more recognition for his efforts/progress, but he’s not being stable enough for that yet, at least not for a role that requires him to put in a lot of consistent work to advertise and sell alcohol. ![]() His priorities right now are his sobriety and relationship and I think he needs to be real with everyone else about his boundaries and how he wants to navigate his relationships with everyone as sober Carl. Lindsay has undoubtedly contributed to Carl being distracted and is partially way he’s been distant from his friends/job. He wasn’t even communicating in general, let alone about what work he was actually doing, and agreed when Kyle brought up the fact that he didn’t even know what Carl was doing within his job. He kept saying how he put in 90 hour weeks while also agreeing with Kyle about having dropped the ball with work.
